Nambucca Tourism Strategic Plan 2018 - 2023

The Nambucca Shire Strategic Tourism Plan 2018-2023 has been developed to provide a strategic, realistic and cooperative destination management framework to guide Council activities in tourism over the next five years. It will also provide a clear framework for industry to develop an aligned set of actions to leverage results The Plan has been developed with a Project Steering Committee comprising Council and industry representatives. The strategic tourism planning process has involved a situational analysis of the current tourism landscape, wide consultation with industry and community representatives and important tourism stakeholder organisations. Eight strategic priorities were identified from this process to guide the management, development and marketing of tourism for Nambucca Shire.

The Inaugural Macksville Music Muster 2019

Including: Walk Ups, Bush Poets and Song Writers Workshop. Macksville Music Muster will be helping to raise money for local Charity, “ValleyCAT – helping Nambucca Valley kids with developmental issues”. Macksville Music Muster will be a: · Paid Ticketed Only Event · Will Showcase a wide Variety of LIVE Local & Interstate Country Music Artists · Opening Concert Friday Night and Main Concert Saturday Night · Variety of Food Truck & Stalls · Family and Pet Friendly · Bring your own Chairs, Umbrellas, Marquees, Rug · Outside Food and Drinks will be allowed - NO GLASS POLICY · Camping (Powered and Non Powered sites) will be available (fees apply) Organisers expect that around 300 caravan sites at the Macksville Showground will be snapped up. Every year, the American charity Guide Dogs for the Blind receives more than 1000 requests for new canine companions. But not just any dog can become a guide dog, and the challenges and tests an aspiring hound must face over their first 18 months will push these pups to their absolute limits.
