Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country’s largest festivals, and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music. It’s an opportunity for music-lovers from welcoming communities to invite artists from Home and Abroad into their towns, and a way of exploring this vast country in the spirit of hospitality and great fun.

Valla Beach Carols commencing at 6pm, Valla Lions Reserve. Lots of activities for the kids. Food will include BBQ, pizza and coffee van. Carols start at 7pm led by Nambucca Valley Band and the Bowraville singers. The Valla Voices will also be performing, plus plenty more fun and entertainment. The night concludes with fireworks at 8.45pm. See you there.
The Nambucca Shire Strategic Tourism Plan 2018-2023 has been developed to provide a strategic, realistic and cooperative destination management framework to guide Council activities in tourism over the next five years. It will also provide a clear framework for industry to develop an aligned set of actions to leverage results The Plan has been developed with a Project Steering Committee comprising Council and industry representatives. The strategic tourism planning process has involved a situational analysis of the current tourism landscape, wide consultation with industry and community representatives and important tourism stakeholder organisations. Eight strategic priorities were identified from this process to guide the management, development and marketing of tourism for Nambucca Shire.
