The Valla Beach Community Association (VBCA) holds a market on the first Saturday of every even month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, and Dec), focusing on home made and home grown local produce - food, arts, crafts and fantastic musical talent. It runs from 8am to 2pm at the Valla Reserve (also known as “Lion’s Park”), at Valla Beach, a serene and peaceful seaside village. Remaining dates for 2017 are:

  • October 7
  • December 2

The location is next to the footbridge across Deep Creek, at the end of Ocean View Drive, and just a kilometre or two from the Pacific Highway. Head towards the Valla Beach Tourist Park and turn left just before the entry - just follow the Market signs!

Rob NorsworthyOur musician this month will be Rob Norsworthy with his Cobweb Collection.

Entertainment comes in many forms and over the years, for Rob Norsworthy there is nothing better than playing music and just having fun.

Now after many years, playing in many band’s and many different styles, Rob decided to step back further in time and bring some real classic’s to life by creating the COBWEB COLLECTION a mixture of swing , blues , jazz , and a touch of reggae.

Rob is a class act with dynamic vocal’s and some smooth trumpet solo’s.

But wait - there's more! At 9:45 Karen will be there with Yoga for Kids, and at 10:45 there is a demonstration of Tae Kwon Do martial arts.

Next MarketAdd to that a Worm Farm stall, Jumping Castle, Face Painting and a kids entertainment area and there is fun for all the family.

It is also a dog friendly market so the whole family is invited but please keep any dogs under control.
