The Nambucca Shire Strategic Tourism Plan 2018-2023 has been developed to provide a strategic, realistic and cooperative destination management framework to guide Council activities in tourism over the next five years. It will also provide a clear framework for industry to develop an aligned set of actions to leverage results
The Plan has been developed with a Project Steering Committee comprising Council and industry representatives. The strategic tourism planning process has involved a situational analysis of the current tourism landscape, wide consultation with industry and community representatives and important tourism stakeholder organisations.
Eight strategic priorities were identified from this process to guide the management, development and marketing of tourism for Nambucca Shire.
