Warrell Creek Tour 6 hours - 8.00 am pick up, 2.00 pm drop off - Distance 14 kilometres
Enjoy paddling along the unspoilt waters of Warrell Creek as the river meanders through various types of vegetation from Scotts Head through to Nambucca Heads. This area is home to a number of birds, fish and animals such as osprey, kingfisher, heron, pelicans, dolphins, stingrays, goannas and many others. The tour includes morning tea, a buffet style lunch, and pick up / drop off by mini bus in the local area.
Cost $60.00 inclusive of GST for adults $30.00 inclusive of GST for under 16 years.

Osprey Tour 3 hours - 9.00 am pick up, 12.00 am drop off - Distance 8 kilometres
The Osprey tour is a 3 hour paddle on beautiful Warrell Creek from Gumma Reserve to Bellwood Park or visa versa depending on the tide (we will paddle with the tide). Enjoy a fruit platter for morning tea as you admire the views of the Nambucca Valley from the sandy river bank. You are likely to encouter various wildlife including osprey (osprey nest), pelicans, cormorants, herons, fish and stingrays. Pick up / drop off by mini bus is provided from Bellwood Park, Nambucca Heads as required. Cost $33.00 inclusive of GST for adults and $22.00 for children.

Inner Harbour Tour 2 hours (Starting time varies due to tides)
The tour guide will provide instruction and assistance so that inexperienced paddlers can participate with ease. You are bound to encounter pelicans as you paddle the beautiful estuary of the Nambucca River.
Cost $22.00 inclusive of GST for adults and children.

Sunset Tour 2 hours / distance 4 kilometres.Enjoy paddling in to the sunset on the beautiful Nambucca River. Nambucca Kayaks will pick paddlers up from Macksville by courtesy bus and take them to our start point. Start times vary with the seasons and are made available upon enquiry.
At the end of the paddle, relax and watch the sun set into the west while enjoying a cheese platter and wine (or other drink). Wildlife likely to be encountered include osprey, pelicans and dolphins.
Cost $33.00 inclusive of GST for adults - $22.00 inclusive of GST for under 16 years.

Kayak Hire (without guide) Single person and two person recreational kayaks are available for hire.
The kayaks are very stable and easy to paddle making them suitable for fishing, exploring or just a bit of fun and exercise.
Cost Single kayaks $10.00 per hour $30.00 per half day or $50.00 per full day.
Cost 2 person drifter kayaks $15.00 per hour $40.00 per half day or $60.00 per full day.

The houseboats are fully self contained, no boat licence required, licence supplied, fridge, outdoor setting, large ice box, BBQ, gas stove with 2 cook tops, TV, CD & DVD player.
Weekend hire: Friday 1pm-Monday 9am
Midweek hire: Monday 1pm-Friday 9am
Weekly Hire :Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday

OSPREY CRUISE BOAT

• Our cruise boat carries a maximum of 49 passengers.
• We are available for functions, Parties, Presentations for 2 or 3 hour cruises.
• It is equipped with a PA System and 22 inch LCD TV / DVD / Flash drive multi media display for your presentation needs.
• We do groups or individual bookings.
• We are open to suggestions should your group require special needs.

Imagine the silence of acres of pristine wetlands, a silence broken only by the calls of the native birds and the dip of a canoe paddle. This is just one of the many delights awaiting you at the Valley of the Mist located at 88 Congarinni North Road, Talarm, about 5 kilometers out of Macksville.

A working farm, comprising 106 acres, the Valley has been run for generations, initially by the Spalding family, now by the family of Dennis and Marilyn Ryan.

Now entirely devoted to farming using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods, Dennis works with nature to manage a native tree orchard, which includes lillipilli, lemon myrtle, Davidson plum, aniseed myrtle, Dorrigo pepper and macadamia.

Much of the fruit and foliage they produce is turned into gourmet bushtucker on the farm near Macksville, including salad dressings, jams, marinades and sauces.

All of this the rare and beautiful East Coast wetlands and the sustainable orchards tucked into the remains of rain forest can be sampled by tour or taste.

Valley of the Mist offers seasonal Walking and Bushtucker Tours and Tastings as well as a unique Canoe Tour of the acres of wetlands. As Dennis says: It a wondrous place. I still get joy out if it.
