At 7pm the theatre will be showing the film ‘Animal Kingdom’, a film about a disruptive family which shows menace in a Melbourne crime family. Although it does not romanticise them, it sees them for what they are, simply beasts. David Stratton and Margaret Pomeroy have rated it four and a half stars. This is rated MA15+ and not suitable for children. Entry $10, concession $8. Doors open at 6pm.

Event 3: ‘Macksville Cemetery: A Look Behind the Names on Headstones’
When: Sunday 12 September 2010, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Where: Front Gate, Macksville Cemetery, Wallace St, Macksville.
Cost: $5.00, bookings are not required.
There will be posters displayed and information booklets at local libraries, Bowraville Folk Museum and various locations around the Valley.

Fri.Sept 10 at 7.30.pm the BowravilleTheatre welcomes direct from Hungary Antal Szalai and his Gypsy Band with a night in Budapest and Vienna.
This a glorious night with the Minstrels of Magic. Szalai is everything a Gypsy violinist should be, this is a must see event for all those music lovers out there, there is nothing else like it in Australia.
Entry is $25.00, concession $20.00. Tickets can be obtained from the Theatre Office, and at the door subject to availability.

The Arts Council will be holding a ball in Grants Hall on Saturday 11 September starting at 7.30 pm. This event is a night of fun and music to raise funds for our dressing rooms. The Band ‘Jahbutu’ will provide a Caribbean Spectacular - dress is flamboyant/colourful. Tickets are $25 each and can be obtained from Bradleys Real Estate, Nambucca Heads; Arts & Framing, Macksville; Bowraville Post Office and Bowraville Theatre. See you there.
