Date: Sunday 5 July 2009Venue: Bowraville Racecourse, Rodeo Drive, Bowraville Saturday 5/07/09 Bowra Cup Meeting.
Everyone is welcome at all meetings and a bus is available from Nambucca Heads bus stop adjacent to the Police Station.
The Nambucca River Jockey Club is a voluntary run organisation and all profits are used to manage, maintain and upgrade the race course facility. There is no other income apart from patronage at our meetings.
All facilities are available for on course punting including metropolitan and interstate meetings.
Refreshment and food outlets are available and family and picnic areas are also available. All are welcome and invited to experience a true friendly country race meeting.
Further meetings: Saturday 3 October, Bellingen Cup Meeting. Saturday 26 December, 2009, Boxing Day Meeting. In 2010 meetings will be held 16/01/2010, 13/03/2010 and 17/04/2010.

A charity fund raising performance for Camp Quality by the AUSTRALIAN GIRLS CHOIR will be held at the Nambucca Heads Entertainment Centre on Monday 13 July at 1.30pm. The performance is a 45 minute program of choral delight. Following the performance there will be an informal afternoon tea where the girls will meet and chat to the audience members.
Belinda of the choir has said "she is pleased the girls will be able to perform for the Nambucca Community and that they are happy to help with fund raising."
Admission is $5. Children are free.
