Nambucca Valley Country Music Club Inc.
meets on the last Sunday of each month.
Venue: Nambucca Heads Bowling Club.
Time: Noon - 4.30p.m.

We feature a live country band to back performers. 
Admission is $2 at the door. Membership is $5 per year. 
Usually around twelve performers appear before a crowd of around 80 country music fans.
A fun afternoon and all are invited to stay on for the “Bowlo’s” famous smorgasbord dinner at 5.00 p.m.

At 7pm the theatre will be showing the film ‘Animal Kingdom’, a film about a disruptive family which shows menace in a Melbourne crime family. Although it does not romanticise them, it sees them for what they are, simply beasts. David Stratton and Margaret Pomeroy have rated it four and a half stars. This is rated MA15+ and not suitable for children. Entry $10, concession $8. Doors open at 6pm.

This years’ History Week is from 4 – 12 September 2010, titled ‘Faces In The Street’. Mary Boulton Pioneer Cottage and Museum is holding three events for History Week.

Way Way Wonder
Meet at 174 Rosewood Rd, Warrell Creek at 8 AM for a 25 km mountain bike ride.

Macksville also plays host to the annual Pro-Ag which over the years has turned into a gathering place for displays of all things agricultural. Held in October each year, the event attracts some 11,000 visitors to take in the many and varied attractions. As well as food and fun stalls, livestock and pets you can inspect the latest range of 4 wheel drive vehicles, boats, tractors and lawn mowers.

Comedy/Drama. Based on a true story this is a film about rural life in present day Spain. A little village with no women and no future organizes a big bachelor party to which all the single women of the neighbourhood are invited. Patricia from the Dominican Republic who has no ID. Milday from Havana who is dying to travel around the world. And Basque Mariroso frin themselves on the ‘bus of hope’ chartered by the village. What follows is a story of social integration and male/female relationships.

Clubs from NSW & QLD have been meeting at Valla Beach for over 20 years - Show & Shine Bowra St Nambucca Heads Saturday 30th October 2010 from 8 AM - 1.30 PM.

This Sunday 31 October 2010 the Funkya @ Unkya event is on again at the Unkya Reserve in Eungai, signposted on the Pacific Highway, easy to find.

All proceeds go to the maintenance and upkeep of Unkya Reserve. Needless to say there'll be great coffee and food as well as great music and activities. We may even crank up the pizza oven!!
